We’ve finally finished our new Mortgage Calculator, and we’re very proud of it! The mortgage calculator was a lot of work, but we’re happy the day is here to unveil it.
We did our best to make the mortgage calculator functional, intuitive, and aesthetically pleasing.
We hope this is helpful for you, and if you have any questions, comments, or requests, then use the Contact Us form to submit them to us.
Chances are, what you would like added is already on our radar, but we won’t know unless you tell us!
Mortgage Calculator Features
The mortgage calculator will perform a task as basic as calculating your monthly mortgage payment, but it will also be as detailed as creating an amortization schedule.
The mortgage calculator also allows you to include additional payments which will shorten the length of the schedule.
One feature that I’m really proud of is that it will graph the payments for you as well.
There are some enhancements that we will definitely be adding as time goes on, but I think this is an excellent start and goes beyond what the majority of mortgage calculators out there do.
What is an Amortization Schedule?
What’s an amortization schedule? The best way to figure it out is by using the mortgage payment calculator and seeing it in action.
In short, an amortization schedule is a payment-by-payment break down of your mortgage. So, if you input a standard 30 year mortgage with no additional payments, then you will see a schedule with 360 individual payments in it.
Mortgage Payment Calculator Enhancements
We have a list of enhancements that we want to add, and if you want to add to it, we welcome it. Use the Contact Us form to let us know what you like, what you don’t like, and what you want added.
We won’t be able to address everything because of differences in opinion, but we’ll certainly do our best to make it as useful as possible.
We hope this calculator is a positive enhancement to the site, and we hope that it is a useful tool for you in your research. Have a wonderful week!
