For many, this is a day to celebrate George Washington’s birthday, for others it is to celebrate all presidents of the United States of America, and for a small handful that don’t read this blog, it’s a day to purchase stuff at a discount (which isn’t actually discounted). Whatever your reason is, I hope it is an enjoyable day.
I don’t necessarily agree with many of our President’s policies, and ideas, but I greatly respect the office that he holds and pray that wisdom and knowledge rain upon him. At the end of the day, conservative, liberal, red, blue, republican, democrat, libertarian, or anything in between, we all benefit when our president makes wise decisions.
Let today be a day where we can lay down partisanship and celebrate how far we have come as a nation, and not let us lose sight on the future. Celebrate our accomplishments, celebrate our leaders, voice your concerns unforgivingly, pray for our leaders, and let them know what we need to do. From a financial standpoint, I’m extremely disappointed of where our country is, and it’s my job to let my leaders know.
God Bless America, and I pray that each and every one of you has a great, safe, and Happy Presidents’ Day!
